DigiLab, Muse headbands and the Counselling Service at The University of Manchester

We’ve mentioned the Muse headbands a few time already in previous posts on this blog. Here’s what Ros Bell posted about the Digilab trial on the Digilab blog.

The notion of DigiLab has changed over time, but one of the original motivators remains: a place for departments to test out equipment before buying it. Allowing people to try before they buy, potentially saving a great deal of time and money, whilst also gaining real student feedback in the process.

muse_1Inspired by us trialling Muse headbands with students during Exam Extra, The Counselling Service has bought a set for use in their Well Being room. They were very impressed with the way the headbands worked and are excited about the various uses. They are planning on keeping their headsets in the Well Being room for use by staff and students.
